The village board will be holding a Meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 7:00PM, at the village hall. We will be discussing personnel matters and upcoming changes to contractual obligation. The public is welcome.
Last week, the Village DPW watched Charlie Snell leave after an almost 40 year career. Charlie’s main duties were sewer infrastructure, plowing, and heavy machine operator. The Board and I wish Charlie a healthy, happy, and well deserved retirement.
Last Thursday was also Mike Risewick’s last day as Code Enforcement Officer. Mike did an outstanding job and will surely be missed. On behalf of the Village Board and myself, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude and wish him the best in the future.
Mike’s departure will leave some holes to be filled, but we will work through them.
