Mayor’s Corner by Greg “Porp” Rogers:
On April 18th LeRoy will be having a spring clean up day, this is the idea of Danielle Borrelli and Michele Westfall Ownes.
You will be able to drop off your bag of garbage from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Trigon Park. Then the Village DPW will take care of it from there, no stickers needed. We, however, will not be taking oversized items. We will also have a designated area at the Village barns on North St. for computers and electronics that need to be properly disposed of. We strongly encourage all to take advantage of this and start our Spring season looking better than ever.
The Village board would like to thank Danielle and Michele for bringing the idea to life and hopefully making it a yearly event and keep it growing.
On April 15, at 7:00 pm we will be holding our monthly meeting and public hearing for our proposed budget increase of 80 cents per thousand of assessed value at the Village hall, 3 West Main St. This is open to the public.
