You may have seen in the Batavian’s coverage of the town of LeRoy board meeting, that they passed a resolution to join the village in applying for a consolidation grant study. Both boards feel that this should explored in the name of efficiency. How your tax dollars are spent are our main concern and if there is a better way to do it, we will explore it. So please let’s not get negative on this before the information is compiled. As we progress down the road you will be informed and no action can be taken without a community vote.
Weather permitting, we are paving streets Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Please do not park on the streets, this leads to a lot of unnecessary stress to those trying to work.
The next village board meeting is on July 16th at 7:00 pm at the village hall.
Oatkafest is next weekend, please take time to enjoy what makes LeRoy a great place to live.
